Today I'm sharing a DIY project with all of you. Few days ago my son ordered an headphone set for himself. It came in a small closing box and when I saw that box, so many ideas were floating in my mind. I grabbed that and altered it into a beautiful 'Treasure Box'.
I have decorated it with Mixed Media technique. Here I'm sharing a quick write up of the procedure but you can see step by step video on my YouTube channel ( link is at the end of this post)
Applied Prima White Gesso at the edges of the box.
Stamped newspaper print using Prima stamp along with Walnut Stain distress ink.
Adhered Prima paper all over it.
Decorated the top of the box with some flowers, lace, half pearls, sequins, die cut leaves, art stones, glitter dust and my handmade vintage butterfly. You can fine the butterfly tutorial here: https://youtu.be/uo9ArFLRC8k
