Fluttering Leaves Of Autumn!

Updated: Oct 25, 2018

Hey there! Hope you all are doing good and enjoyed my '7 Days With Altenew' card series which I've posted on my YouTube channel. It was a 7 days with 7 cards series and you can find all the posts here with video tutorials.

So let's start today's post :)

We all are enjoying this Autumn season and leaves are changing their colors everywhere. I'm in New Jersey and fall has started here as well. I'm enjoying these fluttering leaves and their colors from my patio everyday. Oh! I've clicked some pics of my surrounding colors..soon gonna share :)

Here is today's card which is on fall theme..

Step by step procedure...

  • I took Recollection cardstock and distressed it with Mustard Seeds, Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey, Tumbled Glass and Aged Mahogany distress inks.

  • I did second and third generation stamping so that I can get some leaves for no line coloring.

  • Colored these leaves with Life Of Colour Water Brush Pens. They have their shop on Amazon. They sent me their Water Brush pens to try and trust me they are awesome. It's a pack of 20 brush pens with one refillable water brush. It's a pocket friendly and a perfect gift for your crafty pals.

  • I did base coloring with these brush pens then used my FaberCastell Polychromos Pencils for more shading. Fussy cut them all.

  • For creating background on the card base.. I stamped Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves from JustRite Stamps (didn't find the link of this set as I bought years ago) and some 'Cutting of The Tree' from Lesia Zgharda Designs using Walnut Stain distress ink.

  • Sentiment is again from the same JustRite stamp set.

  • Arranged all the leaves on my card and used double sided foam tape to give dimension.

Hope you like this card.

That's it for today!

Be kind, thankful and optimistic!

Signing off for now..!

Ruchi...
