Christmas Tag- Mixed Media

Updated: Dec 6, 2018

Hello lovely people and wishing you all a very happy festive season...! :)

I've engaged myself in Christmas projects and started a crafty series on Christmas theme. In this series.. I'm creating a crafty project everyday till December 25th. It can be anything like a tag, a card, an ornament or any DIY project which is purely Christmas-y.

Today's project is for day 4 & day 5 as I started this yesterday n finished today. Then clicks all the pictures and now writing this article. :)

Before starting today's tag.... just have a look at my day 1, 2 n 3 projects quickly..

Day 1- Tag ...check the details HERE

Day 1- Tag

Day 2- Tag with my illustrated stamp. Check the details HERE

Day 3- Tag ..check the details HERE

Let's start today's post..

  • For this tag I've used various products from various companies. I'm mentioning some of the products with their links so you can give a start to your ideas. :)

  • I've used one of my packaging sheet for tag base and cut it in 3 1/2 x 5 3/4 inches.

  • Adhered a paper from an old magazine using clear gesso and distressed it using distress ink. Embossed clocks in gold using one of my old stamp. You can stamp anything to create the background of your tag.

  • After creating BG...I layered some Prima papers and gave dimensions by adding cardboard pieces in between the layers.

  • Stamped these leaves on white paper and Pine Cones on kraft paper then fussy cut them. Used Lesia Zgharda Stamps for that.

  • This metal charm is from Prima. Cut it in half and glued it using Finnabair heavy body gel.

  • Red flowers and small pine are Potpourri essentials.

  • This bold HOME chipboard is Tim Holtz product. This pack comes with various sentiments in different sizes.

  • Glass Glitter is Finnabair product and it's one of my favorite. You can see this in almost of my mix media projects :)

  • Burlap lace bought from Dollar Tree store.

I hope you like it. Give it a try and don't forget to subscribe my social media accounts for upcoming projects. Links are above on the right side bar. :)

I've created a Mixed Media Canvas few days ago mostly with same crafty products. You can find the post HERE

That's it for today!

Be kind, thankful and optimistic!

Signing off for now..!

Ruchi...
